From what I hear, they don’t have the “gouging” laws in Georgia they do in Texas, so as long as people will pay it, they can charge what they want. It’s a clear case of panic buying, with no real reason behind it. The Georgia governer had to get on TV and tell people there was no gas shortage and people were STILL freaking out. In the words of K in Men in Black, “A person is smart. People are dumb, panicky, dangerous animals and you know it.”
