Excellent commentary on changing times:

The world is starting to get it. The name “Clark Kent” didn’t just call up a quiet man with a secret — for generations, it also meant the kind of guy who *takes* orders rather than gives them. In 2012, even that guy will start his own blog rather than accept employment on someone else’s terms.
